What's newish?
Rolling out our new blog has turned out to be more complicated than we expected. Right now we are setting up the links, but the blog itself is not really ready for prime time. Still, since the links are posted, we should just tell you something about it.
As the blog tagline suggests, the blog will address a range of topics, from technical issues concerning pashmina production to optimization of tourism and mountain stewardship to the future of Nepal, with some sideways glance to personal projects of ours. The purpose of the blog format is to encourage participation: we want your thoughts on our posts, and we would also consider posting your own disquisitions on related topics.
Well, pretty much no more. There are some residual offers out there, and we'll honor them, but we are implementing a newish strategy of transparency, meaning that the customer should not have to worry that there might be some promo code that they're missing out on. In point of fact, we have routinely let people know if there are applicable discounts, but the point is that you should be confident that you are getting the one price for whatever it is you're looking at. And that's how it will be.
We are so proud of Ukraine! Against all odds, even with Trump leaning his elbow on the scale for Putin, Ukraine's warriors have turned the tide.
Now more than ever, Ukraine needs our support. Fly the colors, tell the world: we care about freedom, we care about democracy. We care about the people of Ukraine.
In solidarity with the freedom fighters, we offer our stunning Slava Ukraini shawl.
Available only in our so-called "medium size" (which is currently the industry standard), the shawl measures 71 by 203 cm (28 by 80 inches). It is hand-loomed in the finest 54/1 gauge 100% cashmere yarn and printed with color-fast dyes in the hues of the Ukrainian flag which symbolize amber fields of wheat under azure skies.
A few months ago we finally opened an account on TrustPilot. Obviously, we should have done that earlier, but as our Nepali friends say, के गर्ने?
TrustPilot has a clever algorithm whereby new accounts are saddled with three imaginary low ratings that have to be balanced out by new reviews. So far we have 29 comments, all 5-stars, and our rating has climbed to 4.7. Want to see a sample?

Although it has been a while since I bought my pashmina I am still so happy I got it from Sunrise Pashmina! It was easy to order except that there were several I liked and had to decide. My pashmina arrived when stated and is still beautiful. I had some questions at times and were answered many times the same day. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. Looking forward to buying another soon

Durable and Elegant
I have bought several pashminas from Sunrise Pashmina over the years, and they are all absolutely beautiful and perfect. The quality is outstanding—one of them is over 15 years old and still looks like new! I highly recommend Sunrise Pashmina to anyone looking for a unique and elegant gift

Yes, we have a "perfect record," but 29 is still kind of pathetic. Please add your review and get us out of this terrible rut.
